WMES has worked on several projects for the Department of Defense Naval and Air Force Bases on Guam, Federal & Local Governments, and Commercial Facilities on Guam, FSM, CNMI, Japan, and Korea. Engineering design references applied to this project are local codes such as  IBC, IMC, IPC, IFC and applicable design standards- Architectural Base Construction and Design Standards (ABCDS), Tropical Engineering, UFC, UFGS, ASHRAE,  and NFPA codes & SPECSINTACT software,  TRACE Load software, SUCCESS cost estimating program, and Dr. Checks program.

WMES is well experienced with DoD structures including schools, housing, commissary, BX, NEX, industrial shops, libraries, warehouses, post office, fire stations, utilities, and administrative buildings.

WMES is a locally based engineering firm, we are intimately familiar with local codes, construction processes dealing with unique conditions of the local tropical climate, and its hot, humid, and corrosive environment, as well as super typhoon and earthquakes concerns,  which all requires special attention to the design to mitigate such challenges.

  • RFP Design for Hangar 1 Repair Modifications, AJJY 11-1010, AAFB
  • RFP Design for Hangar 3 Repair Modifications, AJJY 11-1011, AAFB and involved the preparation of projects Scope of Work, Conceptual Designs, Projects construction cost using SUCCESS, and preparation of the DD 1391.
  • GIAA  IDIQ  for A/E and Surveying Services; Agreement No. GIAA-FY06-027
WMES is experienced with working on multiple projects simultaneously as demonstrated in our successful completion of work with several Design-Build projects with several
Contractors selected for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas as the contracting activity:
